Anyone use 'em?

I have a neighbor who runs long distance barefoot, and runs in either some tribal sandals or the vibrams if his feet can't take the trail.
Can check him out at http://www.barefootted.com (work/family safe)

My second toe is longer than my big toe... Guess I won't be using 'em.

EDIT: Just saw ted has a guide on how to make huarache sandals with a vibram sole. It's right at http://barefootted.com/2007/01/how-to-make-vibram-soled-huarache.html (family/work safe)

Have to copy and paste the link, couldn't figure out how to make it clickable.

My second toe is longer and they fit just fine. I was skeptical at first, but really like them. Took them running on some trails this morning. You have to ease into it, but man they are awesome! You will get funny looks though (are those gorilla feet?)

If you like to deadlift barefoot so you don't have to lift the weight the additional height of your shoes, this is a nice alternative to making your socks or you feet dirty. They feel funny at first but since being barefoot is very good for your feet this is a great way to be barefoot and have shoes on at the same time.

I notice a huge difference the closer I get to a max deadlift. For me it is less the height and more the give in the shoes.
