Just a testimonial about the incredible service we received from Allison Foreman at York Barbell ... I'm not even sure where to begin.

I'm pretty OCD when it comes to details. I research like crazy, lots of questions, back and forth, I'm sure I must be a headache for anyone involved in customer service.

But Allison was flat out awesome. She answered every question I had very quickly with more detail than even I required (hard to imagine, but it's true). And she had no problem making special arrangements for our shipment to Canada.

And beautiful bars ... wow. It's hard to imagine going back to the they use in typical commercial gyms.

Price and delivery were awesome. It took 6-7 days to Canada and that includes clearing the items across the border and a lost day due to holiday.

If you're on the market, definitely give her a call!

I also purchased a bar from Alison back in the spring. She was really great to work with.
The York Olympic training bar is pretty fantastic as well.

I can't remember if I gave her her due back then, so just in case I thought I'd let everyone know!

Oh and Anthony, I think your crossfit gym is pretty new isn't it? Congrats!

I dealt with Allison for some equipment for my garage gym. She is awesome! Great service, thorough, prompt, and she gives a nice discount to Crossfitters that makes some of that high-quality York equipment more affordable than you'd think! I totally recommend Allison!

What is the criteria for getting the CrossFit discount? Do you have to be an affiliate, or will being just a practitioner suffice?

Practitioner is just fine! I'm in a unique and fortunate position to give the 30% discount to all involved with CF, on all of York Barbell products. Feel free to drop me a line and I can forward a catalog, pricing, discounts, etc. Allison Foreman, York Barbell

Just being a practitioner gets you the 30% discount - it comes through me, though, not through York's retail store. I'm able to extend a commercial discount to CF practitioners. And what a beautiful baby - congratulations!

Just a testament to Allison's customer service, i emailed her this morning regarding pricing, about an hour later she emailed me both the retail and commercial catalogs, along with prices, suggestions, waht CF'ers usually purchase, etc. I will be buying from her after I get WAF. (Wife Approval Factor) :whip0000:

Thank you so much Allison!
