The link on today's WOD doesn't work for my computer. Can someone describe what a "double-under" is for me? Thanks!

It's jumping rope with two passes per jump.

The easiest way to visualize a DU is to start jumping rope in the 'normal' fashion and then suddenly try your best to make yourself fall on your face. You'll be not-doing double-unders in no time.

Sounds fun! I'll put on my Rocky soundtrack.

It helps a LOT if you have a good (Buddy Lee) jumprope. 50 is still freaking hard. I did them in sets of five, and spent a lot of time tripping.

I find doing them as alternating:
1 "regular" (single turn) / 1 "double under" gets me to 50 a lot faster . . . I can get 20 (doubles) in a row sometimes. Still hard, though. |
