Re: paleo "change your life in 30 days"

Cracked the whip on myself to really go for this no-cheats. I'm on day 3 and already feeling better. I have a bar of chocolate stashed away in the fridge but it's pretty easy to avoid when I can have a sliced apple with sunbutter and coconut shreds or cinnamon topped butternut squash I certainly do love to cook!
My problem lies in the "school party" that's going down. I don't like to drink, but I get stressed when I'm in party environments (I would NOT go but my boyfriend want us to go so I said sure... oiii)

Food blog is here wfs

Keep it up, everyone! You're so inspiring!!

Re: paleo "change your life in 30 days"

I started my paleo challenge on September 21st. Minus a couple cheats and like 2 full days off (college visit..cafeteria food) I've been strict the whole time. Lost 8 or 9 pounds so far. I have no desire for bread or anything. Nothing but good stuff.

The Paleo Diet by Loren Cordain
But to get started, just read Melissa Urban's blog on the 30 day challenge and Robb Wolf's blog.

Yeah, I heard in technicality - yes, but so is honey. But it doesn't make it any less sugar-ly-ness. Just makes it more 'natural'

Onto day 5 for me!!

No, agave nectar is not paleo. It's not natural at all. You won't find agave nectar anywhere except in a bottle that came from a factory. They have to do all sorts of weird things to it in order to make it edible. Kind of like what they do to various vegetable oils. And if it comes from Mexico, there have been reports that some of the bottles contain a mix of agave nectar and high fructose corn syrup. Which you don't want.

Stick with honey.
