Wow, that video shows fairly strict deadlifting. I thought I was going to see the bouncing bumper plate "dead"lifts that are commonly seen on CF videos. Great job!

that was in the movement standards. had to partially release the bar on each rep.

(i didn't watch the video, but i'm assuming that occurred.) any bouncing would be a missed rep

Yes, that is what the video showed. It looks like it was stricly enforced. I didn't see every second of the video, but the judges looked to be eagle-eyeing each lifter.

Yes we had to show eight fingers release from the bar or it would count in loss of rep. I'd have to say everything was very strictly judged.

The judging was excellent. Strict, but consistent.

I am in awe of Russell Berger. Pound for pound he is the best athlete I have ever seen. The discipline and determination required to reach that level of fitness must be incredible.

Lance is a beast. If any strength WODs come up at the games, nobody's touching him! I'd imagine if there were no suicides before, he coulda gotten 60-70 reps easily.

I agree he is a beast...but lets not get crazy
