Re: Clydesdale Division (200+ lbs) Pullups

I'm 26, 6'2 and most days run between 224-228. My max kipping is 27. I'd listen to anyone on here who's said to do more each day. I incorporated a modified CF warmup into my workouts where I do 3 x 10 of pu's, pushups, dips and air squats. On dips/pu's I started at five and worked my way up. Both #s have gone through the roof. On days where any of those (minus squats) are part of the workout I do maybe 10 total between 3 sets.

Measurable example, I started this the week I got back form a level 1 cert. The day I got pack I did the pullup ladder and got 12+ rounds. 2.5 months later I was 14 rounds plus 14 (just missed 15).

Like they say, if you don't do it well, do it more till it's not a weakness. Greg A. is 200 and can crank out like 60 straight.

Re: Clydesdale Division (200+ lbs) Pullups

I'm 6ft. 223lbs and can crank out 13-15 reps (palms facing me on the bar) with palms out I can do 10 for the past week I've been trying to remain consistant with "greasing the groove".
In a few more weeks i'll test my PR.
