Re: OK, Hang Squat Clean?

As a man told me once, "There are no dumb questions... except yours."

Not really. Maybe I should start that saying though. Anyone got an impressionable apprentice I can break?

My buddy the high school physics teacher tells his students a similar thing. "There are no stupid questions, only stupid people." What is it that you do? I can work on finding you an apprentice. I recruit for a living.

Brandon, that's a good one, I plan on using it ASAP here at work.

If I learned anything while in the military, it is the necessary and proper use of sarcasm whenever possible.

Oh, and nothing is too cruel if it's funny.

Re: OK, Hang Squat Clean?

Well, after doing that workout last night, one project has rocketed to the top of my to-do list. Build a lifting platform, and use different shoes for o-lifting from now on.

While I was fine with the movement, and even a decent weight (topped out at 121 lbs) I was very unstable in my footing, which caused a lot of unbalance during and at the bottom of the squat portion.

I have been working out in running shoes, and my garage is currently covered with foam "puzzle-pieces" mostly to protect the floor. That will all change tomorrow, during my day off, I have found $54.99 4x6 pieces of stall mat at a local feed store.
