Schwinn Aire-Dyne

Dose anyone have experience with this bike? I have heard CF does use them but never seen evidence at any affiliate. I am sure that....excuse me....Gym Jones uses them. Any thoughts? Thank you all!

Crossfit NC has one. It seems like a decent piece of equipment. You can usually find them cheap on craigslist. If I had room, I would probably get one, if only for variety.

A great part of any warmup. Push and pull with both arms and legs.

You can even wear yourself out with Tabata Airdyne once in a while. What's more, the faster you go the more air to cool yourself off with.

It is fairly easy to pick one up in barely used condition for cheap, they are about $600.00 new, I paid $34.95 at the local thrift store.

I believe Coach Glassman has mentioned some things about single speed bikes in the past... a recent journal article, I think.

Re: Schwinn Aire-Dyne

All I know is that if the Airdyne is good enough for The Pit it's good enough for me. I never used an Airdyne until I trained there. We used them during the CrossPit workouts.

I'm slowly stalking up on my gym. bought 3 yesturday. Picking up 2 today. 2 more on Sunday. and 2 more next weekend. If it's in NC I've already bought it LOL.
