Stall Bars

I apologize if this has already been covered but I couldnt dig up anything in the search.

Does anyone have any ideas for a good cheap stall bar design? I have a 20 foot warehouse space that id like to build a set on. Anyone have any ideas?

I was thinking of just some 2x4's hole sawed to fit some 2" pipe. PVC? Steel?

just in the idea stage. Any ideas would be great.

Re: Stall Bars

Probably be easiest to use 1.25" to 1.5" dowel stock instead of PVC or steel. At least with cutting and what not (not to mention possibly cheaper. Instead of a 2x4 I'd go with a 2x6, as it would add strength as well as room to fit your hands between the bars and the wall.
