if you would like to see a 180 kg (396 lbs) snatch by casey burgener go to:

the amazing thing about the lifters at the national level is that everyone of them are on the nan program. that simply means that they are subject to unannounced drug testing anywhere at anytime. casey has been tested at 0600 at our house before. they just show up. he was tested right after the meet at the arnolds. very proud dad!!

Mike, post away about Casey. Sure Grady beat you to it, but come on. He's your son and you've got to be loving this :-)

Brag away!

Coach B, you've got the right to real proud of him! I am always glad to hear about Casey, for three reasons:
1) He's a great athlete
2) He's got a great coach
3) Dads & sons working together is always great to hear about!

Congrats, Coach B, to you and Casey both. That's simply amazing.
Funny, I was talking to Cody that Friday night and asking "why is Casey even doing this" if he didn't need to and Cody kind of shrugged. "I don't know. Get ranking built up for World's or something." Well, I guess setting a new snatch PR is good enough reason!! By the way, the link that Grady posted was not for this lift, but it was a link to an excellent analysis of Casey's snatch and C&J.
Best to all the clan.
