Burpees Sub

I am laying off most intense shoulder work for a bit longer due to an injury and wondered if anyone has any ideas for scaled burpees or a good substitute.

You could do frog jumps or do squat thrusts. A squat thrust is like a burpee but doesn't have any pushup. Just hit the prone position in a squat, kick the legs out, then pull them back in and jump.

Frog jump. Get into the squat of a burpee and jump in the air. These sucked today. We did 10 for every time you got tagged but the boys got bored so we started doing ball slams. Boys like slamming things on the ground.

Squat thrusts are almost the same thing as a burpee, so that'd be perfect if you could do them. Make the down part a wrestling sprawl type of thing- place your hands on the ground, kick your feet back, hips touch the ground, and back up.

Box jumps of various types are also good.

And double unders.
