Jenika, I was led to understand that one of the aspects of completing the affiliate process was to show that CrossFit inc was on the papers as an additional insured. But, it looks like you are already an affiliate.? I imagine it has to do with the nature of litigation in the States.

Hi,

I just got my affiliate approval. Part of the insurance issue IS having CFHQ on the insurance documents. It most definately is a requirement for affiliate status.

We are with Sports Can - 2 trainers + facility @ $1100/year.

I didn't have any issues adding CrossFit Inc. as an additional insured and I don't see what the big deal would be for any company. As for me I am with Aon Reed Stenhouse...not sure what they would charge for individual policies as I get a big group rate through the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association...I just told them what I wanted to do and showed verification that I have credentials to do so (CSCS) and they wrote it right in my policy and it didn't cost me any extra money.
