I just got a shuffle as well, and judging by your musical taste, you can't leave the Husker Du songs Celebrated Summer and New Day Rising off your list. They are perfect WOD tunes.

I'm with ya Larry and Ron.
Senior year '76, San Antonio. ZZTop was state law I think. My favorite was Nugent's Stranglehold on eight track in my '65 Ford Fairlane with 289/four speed with glasspacks and air shocks...
WHOA! For a minute there I started feeling old, but then I remembered where I'm at.

based on inspiration from the BrandX site (check out the 3rd Krav Maga Video) I have to throw in one of my favorites: Drop Kick Murphys. These guys are awesome. Kick-butt, punked up Irish Folk (with a piper named Spicy McHaggis). They do some punked out labor/union songs to. Jeff tells me the band in the KM soundtrack is Seven Nation (not to be confused with White Stripes "Seven Nation Army")... I'm gonna have to find me one of their CDs.

How I missed Larry and Don's posts on this thread is beyond me!!
Senior year, 1980. Bought a '69 Firebird with a 400. Slapped on a Holley 4 barrell and Edelbrock maniford, Hooker headers and Thrush mufflers. Horrible yellow paint job, bad tires, unmatched rims, but the thing HAULED ***!! Put in a decent stereo and blasted Cheap Trick- Live at Budokan!!!!!!!!!! Then AC/DC Back in Black; then some Queen.
Never reall got into Rush until Radio Waves. Had a love/hate thing with Zep. Loved Kashmere, hated Babe I'm Gonna Leave Ya.

Bought the re-issue of Live at Budokan 2 years ago. 2 disc set featuring the entire concert. The boys from Chicago are/were the best blend of power pop and full on rock ever. And, any band with Bun E. Carlos as their drummer is the freakin' collest in the world!! Love that Cheap Trick!
