Substitute Excersises

Hi All

I am new to the Cross fit site but have been doing boot camp (basically it's cross fit). I have a question. I cannot do any thing that is jarring such as running, jumping rope ect. I was in a car accident and have two blown discs in my neck.

What would you recommend I do instead of the running or jumping rope.

Thanks you in advance to all who can help me

Lydia

Rowing, Swimming, Walking Lunges, Air Squats and Step-Ups. Work with what you have and don't get discouraged. If I couldn't run I would invest in a rower without a doubt. Good luck.

My wife has rehab'd from back surgery 3 years ago with CF. She is in the best shape of her life but..., and this is the important but, she was very smart to alter, substitute to ensure she stayed safe.

She Row's pretty much every running WOD.

This is what I do, and I like it. Rowing is a great substitute.
