List of Exercises for the Glute Ham Bench

OK.....so we just received our Sorinex Glute Ham Bench (love it by the way.) I want to exhaust all exercises that can be performed on this piece of equipment. I got it mainly for glute ham sit-ups and hip/back extensions, but I'm wondering if some of you here can list for me other exercises you think are useful on the GHB. I "googled" last night but didn't come up with much.

Thanks in advance!

Lisa

I just got my york GHDs the other day and it was fun doing the full glute-ham raise on it. It wasn't something I could do on my little roman chairs.

I know, Chris, isn't it fun? Like Christmas in March! (Actually, this was one of my Christmas presents!)

Have fun with your new equipment!

What else do ya need? A man once told me "you give me someone that can do GHRs with a 45 held to his chest and I'll give you some strong SOB."

LOL, that's Hurley. Yes, I named him after the guy on LOST. Figured hey, he's a fat 'n' happy sorta dude, works for the dawg.

And yeah, if you ever want to have a lot of fun, sit yourself at a GHR and don't leave until you get 100 reps. Last time I tried I started with a set of 20, a bunch of sets of 10, and then I started squeezing out sets of five and finally I was doing one at a time and resting with my hands on the handles in between.

The same guy also once told me: I have never in my life met a man whose hamstrings were too well developed.

I was so proud of myself b/c I am usually too technologically inept and/or lazy to find the links to post. This one is actually on my "favorites" list.

This thread illustrates perfectly why I have such a love-hate relationship with this board.

I love it, as I learn a lot just reading what people have to say and e.g. I get a great link to read from Brian. I hate it because I come across something like this from Zach, and just because the idea was put into my head, I know at some point I'm going to have to try this little bit of masochism or else I can't rest easy.
