E and I were in Hastings, NE working a 3 day motorcycle race with the MRA. Work then packing then bolting out the door to try to get there before 2am prevented working out Friday. Working 6am - 10pm running around picking up bikes, etc was more than enough of a workout for the next three days.

Tuesday we were just lazy.

So back to working out! I can't believe how much I've lost just missing 5 days...

5/28
1/2 Angie
E - 7:19
N - 10:49

She kicked my a$$ on this one...

Time for me to train harder I guess...

Gonna workout tomorrow too. Too many rest days already.

Needed a quick workout without going to the gym as E had to work at 2pm today.

5/29
CFWU x2

Cindy Scaled
AMRAP in 10min
1 pullup/3 jumped pullups
4 pushups
7 squats

E - 14 rounds in 7:40 then went for a 10 minute run
N - 16.6667 rounds

She kicked my butt yet again (are you seeing a trend yet?). However I did manage to do two dead hang pullups. That's a PR! well at least a PR in the last 20 years.

Still lots of catching up to do after last weekend...

6/11 & 6/12

Been swamped with work and playoffs for two hockey leagues. We've been doing inpromptu workouts as tiem and energy permitted. Lots of pullups, pushups, situps, squats, etc...

Back on schedule a little...

6/11
Deadlifts
CFWU x 2
5x135, 5x175, 3x225
Work Sets:
1Fx275, 3x245, 3x255, 3x265, 3x275

6/12
WOD scaled from Brand-X
3 Rounds
8 single leg squats (8 each leg)
10 Bench Dips
12 Jumped Pullups

N - 10:17
E - 4:48

I went really slow on the squats as I've had a bunch of knee problems...

Re: N&E's Log

Taking some time off. I managed to a) wreck my bicycle on Monday and then b) pull something in my back doing the WOD that same day. The back is finally starting to get better today (Thursday). We're playing in a golf tournament tomorrow so I'm going to rest the back as long as possible. Then a hockey practice (always harder than games...) tomorrow night.

Should be back making up WODs on Saturday and Sunday...

6/23

Nick's 2 Month X-Fit anniversary. Didn't realize that until writing this. Weighed myself after my workout (I should weigh in before I workout but all my past weights were done post workout so at least I'm consistent ). Down to 230#! Only 30 more to go.

So without further ado...

WOD 6/23
E - 5k as Rx'd: 31:40
N - 5k row (bad knees): 19:53

Still gotta make up a few workouts from the weekend. Especially thrusters. I seem to skip all the shoulder workouts. I swear I don't do it intentionally!

With work, traveling on weekends and my golf league it's really hard to squeeze in workouts...

For all you golfers out there I did have an albatross (scored a 2 on a par 5) Friday morning...

Saturday and Sunday we were in Pueblo working motorcycle races.

Monday 6/30
Did a make up workout from 6/17
CFWU x3
5 Rounds for time
21 reps Shoulder Press
21 Back Extensions

N - 55# SP 19:08
E - 24# SP 19:57

A bunch of wasted time in her first round as we adjusted weight several times.

Gonna do a leg workout tomorrow as we just did shoulders today...

Angie

E - Scaled to 50 of each
N - Scaled to 75 of each
We're both still doing beginner pullups

E - 7:52
N - 23:26

I started pullups when she finished pullups and was only half way done with them when she finished the squats .

Hopefully we'll be back on track now...

Today after a brief warm up of dynamic stretching we did a modified version of Tebeta This. We left out the rowing as we don't have a rowing machine nor a good way to simulate one.

We did 8 rounds each of:
Squats
Pullups
Pushups
Situps

We didn't keep score as we did it together and didn't have paper and pen(cil)s handy.
