Makeup day for Sunday.
Knee is still bothering me and Erika has two hockey games tomorrow so we decided not to do OVHS. Also we felt that we've been scaling the WOD's a little too far in terms of quantities. We still need to scale weights or sub versions. So today we did:

I got about half of one dead hang pullup. Long way to go...

Couldn't work out yesterday so workout added to today

E's first Deadlift workout---yeah, form instead of max effort.

7 Squats (body weight)
E: 3 real pull-ups for the first 3 sets (aaagh!) 19 rounds (yes, a freshman)
N: No real pull-ups, 19 rounds with Erika shouting hey, yeah, she has to be legal--OK! So now she's a freshman!) Plus one round of 3 jump-pullups (had to show- up E)

Couldn't make it to the gym today, plus after lots of yard work and a hockey game tomorrow we decided to try to save our legs and repeated the workout from 5/13.
5 rounds for time
N - 20:26
E - 19:41
Basically two minutes slower than 5/13. That sucks. We were both completely dead today. If either of us had been working out alone we'd have quit after 3 rounds... Must be too much sun or not used to the heat yet...
We definitely need a better pullup bar. Our current one is rectangular and it worked well at first. Now it is just killing our hands and wrists. Time to go dig through the equipment forum and build a better pullup bar!

Did Monday's workout today
25(e)-35(n) pound Sumo-deadlift high-pull, 25 reps
Pull-ups, 20 reps
10 Handstand Push-ups (modified)
E - 5:03
N - 5:27
Again I over-scaled the workout. Knee is finally better but now I've pulled a muscle in my chest. Makes pushups and pullups very painfull and weak.

Today we did Tuesday's workout. We subbed running for rowing as we have neither a boat nor stationary rowing machine.
E's comment after the workout was "I hate Burbees." I told her she's in good company as that seems like the general sentiment among forum posters...
