That's a great exercise! Coach Kutz made us do it outside so as not to bust one of the lamps in the weightroom. :-)

i thought of a new one today...walking lunge push presses. havent tried it, and it does seem like it would be a little hard, but possibly great for one legged explosiveness. it came to me as i was hiking up a mountain. i realized push presses are a great exercise to teach proper body mechanics and explosiveness. but i was thinking a one legged version of the push press (or even thruster) would even better mimick walking/running/jumping. walking lunge push presses are the answer...




or not.



oh, and it looks like D-ball slams, Michael. explosively slam the ball, catch it low, raise it high, repeat.
