Italian Craig's List

A few other posters in Italy (Vicenza area) have wondered how to find used gear in Italy. There is a Craig's List for Italy, but Italians don't seem to use it. What I just discovered is Subito (http://www.subito.it/ and I'm not calling it WFS because I haven't been around much of it). Works just like Craig's List. Asking prices seem very high, but that's just Italian business--the seller expects the lowball counter-offer. I'm rummaging through my regional page now, good traditional gymnastics stuff, but still haven't found that prize

If you're US military in England, Germany, Belgium, Spain or Italy, we can always help each other out by buying bargains local and shipping SAM to who wants it. Also, while the main bases in Iraq and Afghanistan are loaded, the OPs and FOBs aren't well-provided with gear. If you're out there, publish a wish list, maybe we can get something to you.

Mod, if this isn't the best place for this, feel free to move it.

Re: Italian Craig's List

Well, Craig, for the link
I live in Italy, and I've never seen before this site
Shame on me...
You're right when you say Craiglist isn't known in Italy. Usually we go with local free classified newspapers. And there are alot of them. Where I live, in a 30 km radius, we got at least three...
I hope you find something good for you on Subito.it. I'm looking on it myself right now

Ah, bella Umbria. I live in Casal di P-----, say no more, down south. There are probably free newspapers in Napoli, but not out here in la campania of Campagna. Maybe we'll get lucky...
