Made up New Years WOD - CFT

SP - 146
BS - 206
DL - 286
CFT - 638

Need to get to work and improve these scores. Probable could have squatted more with a partner but afraid of getting stuck at the bottom of the squat. I didn't try and go up on the DL because my form started suckin'. Need to do more core work to improve the form on these.

Re: Dave McRae's Log

120MU for time:
subbed PU/Dips

Made it through 15 sets of 4 x PU/Dips

Elbow started to hurt on the dips (stupid outdoor dip bars are too far apart), so subbed some of the dips for tricep extensions with feet on the ground. 45-50 seconds per round. Mixing up the grip on the pull ups really helped. I need to find a place to hang my rings so that I can really start improving.

CFT 01/29/08

APFT and CFT in one day

Rested too much during the pushups and came down by two but cruised through the situps and the run. I should have pushed it a little harder on the run - 3 second from maxing

PU - 75
SU - 83
2 Mile - 13:21
Score 297

CFT

SP - 136 (-10)
BS - 236 (+30) failed at 246
DL - 306 (+20) failed at 326
CFT - 678 (+40)

Stronger legs but shoulder press needs work. My weak point on the squats and deadlifts was my core. Need more work on the lower back provide the stability and rigidity for the lifts.

05 March 2008

Cindy as RX'ed

14 Rds - not too bad but really out of breath. Pretty happy, but not really happy until I can keep going without taking real breaks. Hopefully 20 rds in the future.
