So i did some handstand push-ups today at the gym. Not a problem... sure I had to force myself to go up and my head was red when I got up but no big deal. Well, last set i glance at the mirror and notice my forehead covered with little red dots... it's been over 5 hours and the dots are still there.. not sure if this is an irritation to the carpet at the gym (forehead touching everytime), but its also visible on my eye lids and around my eyes (no contact there), ot are they small broken blood vessels that popped from exersion? =/ this is NOT cool... ideas

Does it look like this?

Then you are probably right with your conclusion about the broken blood vessels (the little red dots are called petechia (one) or petechiae (plural)).

If this was your first time doing HSPUs, and you have not spent some time before being inverted, and you did hold your breath during pressing, then something like this could be expected. Especially if you get bruises easily (like the blue spots you get when running into things etc.).

Points to consider:

- acclimate to intense inverted exercise
- breath out when pushing up
- check for high blood pressure

Just my 2 cents, off the cuff,

Christian is right on, invert a lot and breathe. This is common.
