There's a huge difference between just skinny-skinny and skinnyfat.

Also, let's say I don't do any cardio and I wanted to prepare for a bodybuilding contest(hypothetically).

This is where I ask "How do the hell do I take off 14 pounds of fat off with diet and weightlifting without adding any cardio?"

I have no choice but to walk. I have no car, and bus passes don't prevent one from walking. So whether I walk on a purpose or I walk because I have to, walking is going to be a part of my life.

That's horse ****. You take off the fat by eating clean and lifting. You don't need to walk for any reason other than as transportation.

Pearse, you are a competitive fighter. Why don't you stay in your lane when the big boys talk about pullups?

I can do 3 reps with 45kg. Not bad for a skinny-fat guy who doesn't compete in a sport that has much to do with maximal strength.

Again, how do you get to 5 percent bodyfat off of eating clean and lifting? Because I just don't see that happening without doing some cardio.

Well, what if I had to walk 4 hours a day as transportation because life apparently hates me? That could easily drop 2 pounds of pure fat in 2 weeks, don't you think?

Calories in vs calories out. Lifting burns calories- assuredly moreso than your walking does. Not only that, you have the luxurious benefit of increased muscle mass, which also aids in burning more calories throughout the day. Now, what you do is make sure you eat real clean, train real hard. Fasted training with some BCAAs and caffeine before-hand works well, and is quite muscle-sparing as well. So, you calculate your caloric allowance, what macros you need, and then go lift like if you don't someone is going to hit you with a stick. A really big stick.

No. I don't think, because everything else you do in terms of your dietary habits is so terrible that even if you ran 4 hours a day you still wouldn't look the way you want to.

You're trying to take the easy way out, and hide behind laziness, and excuses.

There is no easy way out. Excuses are the nails used to build a house of failure, and the way you're going, you'll be living in a mansion of one soon.

No one loses pure fat. It is fat combined with some muscle and water. Caloric deficit will drive your body to use fat as a fuel source with no exercise involved. Eat enough protein and some carbs and you are golden.
