100 HSPU for time?

Anyone ever try this? I was thinking of giving it a shot during break.

What is the maximum number of HSPUs you can do in a single set? For most mortals, I see this workout ending in severe soreness lasting a week or more. A sets X reps or "grease the groove"/frequency method might be a better approach to push up your HSPU numbers over the break.

In Diane you do over 50 HSPU and I don't remember being sore from that. I don't think 100 would be hazardous for someone good at CrossFit. I would guess that if you can't start off with sets of 10 for at least a few sets it would be a bad idea.

point taken... I agree with this assessment. Joey, it would still help to get a feel for your thinking behind doing the workout, however.

Just wanted to point out that in Diane, you do 45 HSPUs.

I can get 25-30 straight HSPU forehead to deck. My reasoning behind this was that I will be traveling for New years and I won't have much equipment, so I was thinking of new travel WODs that I haven't done before.

Ok then this sounds like a great WOD for you for shoulder strength endurance.

Woops, haha! Right, should have done some real math before saying over 50. Thanks for correcting me on that!
