Bake it at 340, but watch it closely, it may only need an extra ten or fifteen minutes. It depends. Yes you can get away without using other types of flour. I'll PM you some good recipes though.

I think we all agree that processed carbs, simple sugar and white bread are bad for you. However let's not forget that one of the two areas where people are supposed to have the healthiest diet is Crete and their meditarrenean diet includes lots of complex carbs.

Every time I've been to the Mediteranean they seem to be eating a lot of white bread, cheese and pasta. They also sleep during the day, smoke and drink a lot of alcohol - hmmm.

:dunno:

Yael, thanks for the advice and the recipes!

I made another loaf of almond flour banana nut bread...decided to put just a bit of rye flour in it (didn't have enough almond flour anyhow)...turned out great, though still didn't cook completely in the middle. Could have been the subbing of yogurt for the buttermilk :bangin: Had to improvise.

You're welcome. Those recipes are pretty spot on, so if you want something perfect... And I can send them to anyone else too, but I didn't want to post them, as they are copyrighted.
