Starting For newcomers to the CrossFit methodology

should you only keep track of the named wod's? i notice that they seem to be the most important.. are those the only ones we should be writing down on paper so that we can look at later on when they come up again?

that is a great way to do it. We use the named WOD's as diagnostic tools to track performance and progress. One of the CFJ's also touches on some fitness standars via a point system.

Also, if you post results to comments, they will still be there when the next one comes up. Gwen today is a good example since it has the links to refer back to so you can evaluate progress. Unfortunately, not all of them are like that. I keep a logbook anyway. I even write down what I do on rest days, like long walks with the dog or Bo staff practice.
