I want to work on some strength training for awhile - leave CrossFit for a couple of months - maybe until January next year. Which programs are really effective for building strength? I'm only familiar with 5 / 3 / 1. I'm sure there are others. I don't want to spend hours in the gym. I find it quite tedious. So is there any program that's quick and effective that will help with the Oly lifting aspects of CrossFit when I go back (hopefully it's fun as well and not too complicated to follow).
