Everyone is different in terms of their ability to recover, so I don't think there's a definite answer anyone here can give. I'd say listen to what your body is telling you. Are you making the regular strength gains you're aiming for, or are you plateauing/regressing? Do you find your legs are too sore to push yourself properly during your workouts?
Plateauing and persistent soreness are key symptoms of overtraining. If you're still getting stronger and fitter then I guess your body is able to handle it. If not then back off the volume a little.
