I know I am stronger.
I had never done olympic lifts prior to CrossFit.
When we did our first CFT my total was 745. A little less than two months later it went up by 90 lbs without me ever doing 1RM training in between - just doing the WODs as Rx'd.
I also got a PR in a half-marathon in October without doing any distance training or regular runs. Granted, it was my 4th half-marathon of the year, but I had not done any running, other than running as Rx'd in WODs, for six weeks prior to that race. My previous PR was in January of this year after a full winter of training.
