I've read that it's best to eat within 15 minutes of waking up for your body because it's, in a way, starved since dinner. That's the reason why I slam a shake because it's easy to get down right when I wake up and then I eat the bagel on my drive. Do you recommend completely ditching the shake in the AM and strictly do the breakfast and waiting 30-45 minutes after waking up to eat?
Yeah, no need for the shake if you eat a good breakfast. Listen, and I know it will be sacrilege here, but if you are pressed for time get a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel at McDonald's and a hash brown on your way to work. Plenty of cals and fast.
