sounds about right to me. military press can be done seated or standing. i think the one typically used for XFIT is standing. no push or jerk (no legs), just a standing military press. you can rack the bar, or clean it...i clean it. that is your starting position - bar on the front of the chest, slightly on the shoulders. then just press it up. check out the link for "exercises," then "presses." it is the first press shown. very simple.
