I actually didn't know how well I'd be able to do this, but it's a lot easier than it looks to just add a little bit extra kick at the top of the clean recovery and pop the bar a little off your chest while moving your hands out wider. That's assuming a full (squat) clean, don't know how to do that with power clean.
Also, you could try starting your clean with wider grip in the first place. That's another thing they changed when I got to the team, my hands are now something like an inch away from the knurling marks.
