The only Paleo diet book I'd recommend is The Paleolithic Prescription
by S. Boyd Eaton, which was also published under the title The Stone Age Health Programme: Diet and Exercise as Nature Intended
. These are long out of print though but you may still be able to get a secondhand copy via Amazon. The rest of them, including Robb Wolfs Paleo Solution
, are little more than variations on the low-carb fad diets that have been around for years and are therefore best avoided. A far better investment would be good basic sports nutrition book such as The Complete Guide to Sports Nutrition
by Anita Bean, or Nancy Clark's Sports Nutrition Guidebook.
