What goes first, the pull or the grip. Usually it's the grip, Stregthen your grip and you will climb the ladder further. Deadlifts, Farmer walks, holding dumbells on the tips of the dumbell head, or simply hanging for time or from a rope for time. One killer is the towel pull-up or fat bar pull-ups. And of course never any straps in the workouts. CrossFit demands a grip and you are only as strong as your grip.
