I've been waking up in the morning with stiffness and pain in my achilles tendon. I can also feel it at the start of a run, but it goes away as it warms up. I completely ruptured my other achilles about 8 years ago and I do not want to go through that again. My calf never fully recovered it's strength or size. I had no symptoms prior to the tear like I do now. Any suggestions for proactive measures?
