Getting Kicked out of Globo-gym
I got kicked out of a 24 hour fitness in Houston today while doing deadlifts from Saturday's WOD. They don't have a platform for lifting, and their matted area for free weights is usually too cluttered with the cro-magnon body builder type to fit in a barbell. Thus, I had to take it to an open area that wasn't matted. Their club manager said I was dropping the weight too hard when in fact I was doing my best to control the weight as much as possible.
I don't want to judge a book by it's cover, but the mere fact the manager told me I was dropping it "too hard" alerted me to his degree of experience with fitness (or lack thereof).
Anyways, has anyone ever had any experience like this, and if so what did you do about it?
