The two tape wrapped 1 1/4" pipes spin freely on the 1" pipe and give a very good challenge to your grip for pullups. I used a wider top bar and individual pipe lengths in order to allow for movement of the bars to the ends to get them out of the way when regular bar use was desired.

The band holders on the platform make for a secure, easy to mount/dismount attachment point for bands when doing lifts in the cage. They are screwed threw the mat into the 4 layers of plywood beneath so they are very solid. I taped the ends so as not to rough up the bands on the threads.
