Extra's beyond WODs depend on goals, level of experience and recovery ability. Definitely check out CF endurance if you want to focus on running.
I have mimimal endurance goals, besides just wanting some base CV for health. I feel strength has a lot of carryover to almost everything and feel most would benefit from some basic strength training program blended with some WODs to work metcons and help for overall fitness.
