The great thing about CF or any good program is we get use to reading our bodies. I would suggest a slow warm up and see where you are.
Many times I have used this method and it worked well. If I am still sore and tight after a warm up then a day off is called for. For me I tend to use sore as an excuse for an extra day off. Most of the time I work out after the warm up and everything is great. It is rare that I need a day off.
