From my understanding of Paleo, its not about quantity but about quality of food.

You will be less hungry if you are eating protein and fat then if you are eating high GI carbs. Fruit and veggies will be enough carb in take and your body will adjust to using fat for fuel.

Just see how you go, eat when Paleo foods when your hungry and dont eat when your not hungry and you should be sweet
