Might just be a tight muscle that you have pulled. Playing hockey for 30+ years...I've had my share of groin pulls. Stretch your groin, hip flexors, hamstrings as those are probably problem areas.

I'm not a if you find a lump and are in pain days from may want to have it checked out.
