Most body fat measurements are horribly inaccurate. I wouldn't take that 26% number too seriously. Do you like what you see in the mirror?

With that said, most athletes -- including most female athletes -- will be substantially leaner than that. Energy spent moving excess mass around is energy that you can't use for whatever the goals of your sport are. "Excess" is defined by the sport, though. Football players don't look like gymnasts.

As for diet: Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.

(Food means stuff that your grandmother would recognize as edible, not processed pseudofood. Not too much, meaning an amount that supports your weight and performance goals. Plants meaning fruits and vegetables in particular.)
