Which rubber band should I use for pull-ups?

Hello everyone!

I've been doing CrossFit for a few months and and love it! I want to start working hard on my pull-ups since I can barely do one. My question is: If I want to use a rubber band for assistance, should I pick one just strong enough for me to manage to perform very few pull-ups or should a go for a stronger one making it possible for me to do about ten?
