IMO you cannot avoid all injuries.

Even if you stayed in bed all day you would probably get bedsores (injury).

The human body responds to stress microtrauma (injury) by becoming stronger.

There is a balance between trying to make the body stronger and the healing that takes place in between the stressor. Sometimes even when you try to do things correcly there will be an imbalance and a noticable injury. The best you can do is try to limit your odds of being noticably injured/hurt.

I am assuming you try to greatly limit the stupid things you do such as making sure you use correct form on exercise getting proper rest, nutrition etc. You can stack the odds in you favor, but no guarantee
