Five Fingers sole problem

I just thought I'd share:
The sole of my Vibram Five Fingers separated from the upper after only a few runs. I checked past posts here, and the suggestions were: Shoe Goo, Super Glue and Gorilla Glue. I knew from past experience that Shoe goo was way too weak and that Super Glue and Gorilla Glue were far too rigid for my purposes. After researching for a while on the internet, I found that what I needed was a very strong contact cement. After reading a variety of websites dealing with Five Fingers repair and barefoot running moccasin construction, I determined that DAP Weldwood Contact Cement was my best bet. I found it in the glue aisle at Home Depot.

Barge cement was another candidate, but reviews of that state that it isn't as strong as the DAP Weldwood since they altered their formula.

I just glued it back together and am going to let it cure for a day before I run on it. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
