Andrew, excellent point. CF is a supplement to your sports training (Specialized Physical Preparation - SPP- if you will). If you are only training for the WODs (ie. CF IS your sport), I would make my SPP sessions Crossfit specific: Olympic lifting assistance exercises, gymnastics classes, technique work for running, rowing training, etc. I like to do some finishing exercises, just for fun: Sandbag walks/cleans, sledge hammer, wheel barrel, or keg lifts.
