Caveat to the above - you should be able to jerk more than you can press - for one rep! If you are doing a set of 10 jerks, you might only be able to do as much as your 1 RM in the press. i.e. you're comparing apples to oranges in my opinion. I can jerk way more than I can shoulder press - for singles. That is, i can split jerk 245, but only sp 170, for the reasons noted above. But I would not be surprised if I could only push jerk for 5 reps (for 5 sets, as with the WoD) the same or even less than I can press for 1 rep.
