i got mine from strengthshop. i believe in the end i went for the perpetual weightlifting bar, you can go cheaper, but as you said its worth investing in it. bought a number of things from them for my gym at home and everything great so far, really impressed with their service. also the bar i purchased came with a lifetime warranty which is definitely worth considering.
