I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago during a pull-up workout. Couldn't move my neck for two days. In my opinion, you would serve yourself best by icing for the first 48, and giving it a week to heal before you do any serious exercise that involves the back and shoulder muscles.
I spent the next week concentrating on running and legs.
