I understand the concept of Grease The Groove (GTG) now, and I want to start using it to improve my pushup score on my Army PT test.

My question is, how does that interact with doing WODs? On days my workout burns out my chest, should I skip GTG or just keep pressing on? For example, the WOD that included 100 pushups ... should I continue to GTG that day?

I want to continue to improve overall fitness and strength, and also see a measurable increase in the # of pushups I can do. So, I want to do both (GTG and workouts), I just want to know if there are any considerations to keep in mind.
