Not all nuts and seeds are recommended. If you read the book, there is a page in there that has the ratios of omega 3 to omega 6 fats of many nuts and lists the good and bad nuts. The good nuts are walnuts, pecans and almonds (may be forgetting one). The bad ones are legumes (anything else that are not the good nuts
). Go back to the book and if you can't find it there, check the paleo site about it.
Your missing good one might be macadamias, which are very highly monounsaturated and have a W6/W3 ratio of about 6, superior to EVOO and avocadoes at about 13.
The "bad" ones are not really nuts, but legumes, of which I'm only aware of peanuts.
